This Cookie Policy explains how FrameLogic Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on the FullRev website at https://fullrev.app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how we handle personal data and the rights you have under UK data protection law.

FullRev is a community for United Kingdom car enthusiasts. The FullRev website is a small marketing site built with Next.js. It is not a heavy tracking operation, and this policy reflects that. We keep both the number of cookies and how long they last to the minimum needed for each purpose. The FullRev mobile apps for iOS and Android do not use browser cookies; technologies used inside the apps (for example device identifiers for push notifications) are described in our Privacy Policy rather than here.

FullRev is operated by FrameLogic Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

FrameLogic Limited is the data controller for personal data processed through cookies and similar technologies on the FullRev website.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. When you return to the site, your browser sends the cookie back, which lets the site recognise your browser and remember certain things (for example a setting you chose, or that you have already responded to a notice).

"Similar technologies" means other methods that store or read information on your device for comparable purposes. These include:

In practice this means we set strictly necessary cookies without asking, because the site cannot work properly without them, and we set any non-essential cookies (such as analytics or error monitoring that is not essential) only after you have given consent.

4. Categories of cookies we use

We keep our use of cookies to a minimum, both in number and in how long each one lasts. The categories below describe what we may use on the FullRev website. The live, itemised list of cookies, with names and durations, is shown in the cookie settings available on the site (see section 7), because individual cookie names and lifetimes can change as providers update their services.

4.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function and for features you have specifically requested. They do not require consent under PECR. We use them to:

Typical duration: most of these are session cookies that expire when you close your browser. The cookie that records your consent choice is a persistent cookie and typically lasts up to six months, after which we will ask you again.

You cannot turn off strictly necessary cookies through our cookie settings, because the site would not work correctly without them. You can still block them using your browser, but parts of the site may then fail.

4.2 Analytics cookies

If and where we use analytics, it is to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the marketing site (for example which pages are viewed) so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, so we set them only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We do not currently run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the FullRev website.

Typical duration: where used, analytics cookies are usually persistent and last between the length of a single session and up to two years, depending on the provider and the specific cookie. We keep these durations to the minimum that meets the purpose, and the current details are shown in the cookie settings.

4.3 Error-monitoring technologies (Sentry)

We may use Sentry on the FullRev website to detect and diagnose technical errors so we can fix problems and keep the site reliable. Sentry can record diagnostic information when something goes wrong, which may include technical details about your browser, the page and the error, and may involve setting an identifier or using browser storage on your device.

We treat non-essential error-monitoring storage as requiring consent, and where it is non-essential we set it only after you have agreed, in the same way as analytics. The Sentry browser client is not initialised, and no non-essential error-monitoring storage is set, before you have made your choice. Strictly necessary security and stability functions remain in the strictly necessary category. Sentry processes this information on our behalf as a processor, and we do not use it to identify or profile you for marketing.

Typical duration: any identifiers used for error monitoring are short-lived, generally lasting for the session or a small number of days. The current details are shown in the cookie settings.

5. We do not currently use advertising cookies

The FullRev website and apps are not ad-supported today, and we do not currently set advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies. We may introduce advertising or partner and sponsor features in future. If we do, we will update this policy, list the relevant cookies in our cookie settings, and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any such cookies are set.

If and when card payments go live on the web (we plan to use Stripe) or in-app purchases through the Apple App Store and Google Play, any cookies or similar technologies those involve will be added to this policy and to the cookie settings, with strictly necessary payment and fraud-prevention functions identified as such. The consumer-law information that applies to those purchases (for example pre-contract and cancellation information, and your rights in the goods, services and digital content) lives in our Terms of Service and the payment flow, not in this Cookie Policy.

6. Third parties involved

Some cookies and similar technologies on the website are connected with the providers we use to run FullRev. Where these involve cookies, they fall into the categories above and, where they are not strictly necessary, are set only with your consent. The providers that may be relevant to the website include:

Other providers we use to run FullRev, such as Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, Cloudflare R2 for media storage, Resend for email, and the providers behind federated sign-in and push notifications, are described in our Privacy Policy. They are not generally engaged through marketing-site cookies, but where any of them set a cookie on the website it will appear in the cookie settings and be treated under the categories above.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, in particular the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or UK adequacy where it applies. Many browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed industry standard for how sites must respond to it, so the FullRev website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track". We honour the choices you make through our cookie settings and your browser cookie controls instead.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add a new provider, change how the site works, or introduce advertising or payment features. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again. The current version is always the one published at https://fullrev.app.
